Day 3 Activity 1

DAY 3: TEAM PLAYERS

Activity 1: Rugby Superstars [4 points]

Jonah Lomu was an All Black and a rugby superstar. He was Tongan, and grew up in Mangere, South Auckland. He was very tall, strong and fast.
Richie McCaw was also a famous rugby player. He was the captain of the All Blacks for 11 years. As well as being an amazing player, Richie McCaw was also a strong leader and captain.
For many people, players like Jonah Lomu and Richie McCaw are superheroes with extra special ‘superpowers.’
Imagine that you could be a superhero for a day. What three superpowers would you most like to have?
On your blog, please list the three superpowers, tell us why you have chosen each one, and tell us what you are going to do with them.
Activity 1
1. Super speed. So that I can become famous and save people.

2.Indestructible. So I can do cool stunts because I want to hurt myself and I will save people from fires.

3.Super strength. So if my family is in trouble or under something then I can lift whatever they are under and so I can just lift whatever I want.

  1. Hi Logan,

Mikey here. Congratulations on completing another activity - it looks like you've been very busy. :)

These are some great superpower ideas. I really like how you've chosen powers that you could use to help people. I've always thought that flying would be a cool power to have. I'd be able to travel all over the world without having to set foot on a plane! I suppose you could do the same with super-speed - you'd be able to run right across oceans to get to wherever you want to go. Where do you think you'd travel to?

    Bye for now,

    Mikey :)
