Activity 3 day 2

Activity 3: Miracle on the Hudson [6 points]
In 2009, Mr Chesley Sullenberger, or “Sully”, became very famous when he landed his aeroplane in the middle of the Hudson River in New York City.
He had to make an emergency landing when both of the engines in his aeroplane lost power. Amazingly, all 155 people on board the plane survived the landing.
This landing became known as the ‘Miracle on the Hudson.’
Sully must have been scared when this happened, but he was extremely brave.

On your blog, recount a time when you (or someone you know) did something brave.

In 2017 this kid called charlie was at school and we were at the swimming pool and this kid called Quinn Jumped into the deep end of the pool and he couldn't swim and charlie ended up Jumping in to the pool and saving his life even though he could of died two.

  1. Hey Logan,

Me again. :) Congratulations on completing yet another activity! I can tell that you're putting a lot of time into the Summer Learning Journey programme and it's awesome to see!

Wow! That was incredibly brave of Charlie. Quinn must have been very grateful that he was around when that happened. Are Charlie and Quinn your friends?

Have a lovely day, Logan. I look forward to reading more post from you soon.
